What is SWAT?

SWAT stands for Superior Winning Attitude Team. Periodically, a student will be chosen to become a SWAT member. There is a strict criteria that all standards need to be met before the SWAT patch is awarded. All students who are considered for the SWAT patch must have initiative to go on their own and do the right thing. While in Taekwondo class, students must do what they are told, even when the instructor isn't watching them. Also, if the student witnesses someone not doing what they are supposed to be doing, the student should tell the instructor, or if not in Taekwondo, should tell an adult. All students must receive good grades with no complaints from teachers or the school. Students who are considered for the SWAT team should also have good reports from home (example - not getting into fights with their siblings and doing what they are told the first time, cleaning their room without being told.) To strive to be the best that they can possibly be.....
